paraphrase-mpnet-base-v2

A sentence-embedding model from the Sentence Transformers project that encodes text into 768-dimensional dense vectors for semantic similarity, paraphrase detection, clustering, and semantic search. Built on MPNet with mean pooling, it is designed to be self-hosted and used as a drop-in embedding layer in retrieval pipelines. Source: supabase.
