Seed 1.6 is a general-purpose multimodal large language model from ByteDance's Seed AI research team, featuring adaptive deep reasoning, native multimodal input (text, image, video), and a 256K-token context window. It is built on a sparse Mixture-of-Experts architecture with 23B active parameters out of 230B total, and is accessible via Volcano Engine APIs and OpenRouter. Source: supabase.
